Job Duties	i) To carry out comprehensive research based analysis of policy questions, project proposals and programme so as to draw sound conclusions for informed decision making. ii) To represent Planning & Development Division in high-level meetings with Ministries and Provincial governments including meetings with Secretaries and Department Heads. iii) To organize and schedule the work which is under his/her charge and to supervise the work of subordinate officers, including their training on the job, and to enable them to pursue a career path. iv) To keep abreast of developments in the field and network with peers.

Age Relaxation	plus five (5) years general relaxation in upper age limit.

Qualification/Experience	Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s degree in Economics or equivalent qualifications in Economics from a recognized University. EXPERIENCE: Fifteen (15) years post qualification experience in Economic Research, Development Economics, International Economics and other fields of Planning and Development like Project Analysis and Management, Public Finance, Poverty, Economic Modeling and Measurement.
Domicile	MERIT=1, PUNJAB=1, SINDH(R)=1,
Note	(i) Length of experience shall be relaxable by four years in case of Ph.D and two years in case of M.Phil. (ii) The length of experience shall also be relaxable by the competent authority in respect of candidates found otherwise highly suitable.
